Last updated: June 3, 2026
This page explains how to add, use, troubleshoot, and remove the Dainvo Zoom integration. It is a public documentation page and does not require a Dainvo login.
Adding the App
Prerequisites:
- You have Dainvo installed on your desktop device.
- You have a Zoom account that is allowed to authorize Marketplace apps.
- Your Zoom account or Zoom admin allows the permissions requested by Dainvo.
Steps:
- Open Dainvo.
- Open Settings.
- Select Accounts or Integrations.
- Find Zoom and select Connect.
- Review the Zoom authorization screen.
- Select Allow to authorize Dainvo.
- After authorization completes, return to Dainvo and confirm that Zoom shows as connected.
If adding the app fails, see Troubleshooting.
Usage
Connect a Zoom Account
Use case: Connect Zoom so Dainvo can create Zoom meeting links for calendar events you manage in Dainvo.
Prerequisites: Dainvo is installed, you have access to a Zoom account, and your Zoom account can authorize Dainvo.
- Open Dainvo Settings.
- Open Accounts or Integrations.
- Select Zoom.
- Select Connect or Reconnect.
- Approve the requested Zoom permissions.
Create a Zoom Meeting for a Calendar Event
Use case: Add a Zoom meeting link to a Dainvo calendar event so attendees receive the join link in the calendar invite.
Prerequisites: Zoom is connected in Dainvo, and the event is backed by a calendar provider that can receive the meeting link.
- Create or edit a calendar event in Dainvo.
- Open the online meeting or conferencing control.
- Select Zoom.
- Save the event.
- Dainvo creates the Zoom meeting and stores the attendee-safe join link with the event.
Update a Zoom Meeting
Use case: Keep the Zoom meeting aligned when you update the event topic, time, duration, or cancellation status in Dainvo.
Prerequisites: The event has a Zoom meeting created by Dainvo, the connected Zoom account still has access to that meeting, and Zoom remains connected.
- Open the event in Dainvo.
- Update the event details.
- Save the event.
- Dainvo updates the linked Zoom meeting where the requested change is supported by Zoom.
Remove a Zoom Meeting From an Event
Use case: Stop using Zoom for a specific event or cancel a meeting created through Dainvo.
Prerequisites: The event has a Zoom meeting created by Dainvo, and Zoom is still connected.
- Open the event in Dainvo.
- Remove the online meeting option or cancel the event.
- Save the event.
- Dainvo removes or deletes the Zoom meeting when supported by the current event state and Zoom permissions.
Removing the App
Remove Zoom From Dainvo
- Open Dainvo.
- Open Settings.
- Select Accounts or Integrations.
- Find Zoom.
- Select Disconnect or Remove.
- Confirm the removal.
Remove Dainvo From Your Zoom Account
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Select Manage.
- Select Added Apps.
- Find Dainvo.
- Select Remove.
- Confirm the removal.
Implications of Removing the App
- Dainvo will no longer be able to create, read, update, or delete Zoom meetings for your account.
- Future Zoom meeting automation in Dainvo will stop until you reconnect Zoom.
- Existing Zoom meetings may remain in your Zoom account unless you delete them in Zoom or remove them through Dainvo before disconnecting.
- Calendar events may still contain Zoom links that were already added before removal.
Data Handling After Removal
When you disconnect Zoom in Dainvo, Dainvo removes the local Zoom authorization tokens for that connected account and stops future Zoom API access. If you remove Dainvo from the Zoom App Marketplace, Zoom revokes Dainvo's access for that Zoom account.
Dainvo may retain local, non-token app data on your device, such as calendar event records, meeting IDs, attendee-safe join links, and cached account summaries, so your existing calendar and planning data remains usable. You can remove local app data by deleting the relevant events, removing the connected account where supported, uninstalling Dainvo, or deleting Dainvo's local application data from your device.
If you sent Zoom-related information to Dainvo support, that support record is handled under the Dainvo Privacy Policy. Contact Dainvo Support if you need help with data deletion.
Troubleshooting
Connect Fails
- Confirm that you are signing in with the Zoom account you want to connect.
- Confirm that your Zoom account allows Marketplace app authorization.
- If your organization requires admin approval, ask your Zoom admin to approve Dainvo.
- Try connecting again from Dainvo Settings.
Meeting Permission Error
- Reconnect Zoom and approve all requested permissions.
- Confirm that the connected Zoom account can create and manage meetings.
- Confirm that the calendar event is backed by a supported calendar provider.
Token Expired or Revoked
- Open Dainvo Settings.
- Disconnect Zoom.
- Connect Zoom again.
Existing Meeting Cannot Update
- Confirm that the meeting still exists in Zoom.
- Confirm that the meeting belongs to the connected Zoom account.
- If the meeting was deleted directly in Zoom, remove the stale meeting link from the event and create a new Zoom meeting from Dainvo.
