Connect calendars and accounts

Use Settings > Integrations to connect the services you want Dainvo to use.

Sign in to Dainvo​

Dainvo account sign-in is separate from connecting a calendar or task provider. You can sign in with email and password or an available social sign-in option. If your organization uses Dainvo enterprise SSO, choose SSO, enter your work email, and finish the organization sign-in in your browser before returning to Dainvo.

What can be connected​

Dainvo supports these integration areas:

  • Calendars: Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Apple Calendar, and CalDAV.
  • Tasks: Dainvo Tasks, Todoist, Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do, TickTick, and Obsidian.
  • Email task capture: Outlook Email for flagged Outlook messages.
  • Online meetings: Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex.

Dainvo Tasks are built in and do not require an external account. Obsidian can use local desktop pairing; direct plugin-to-mobile task sync uses Dainvo browser sign-in with PKCE and the same Dainvo account as the phone.

Google and Microsoft accounts can enable multiple features from the same connected account. For example, one Google account can enable Google Calendar, Google Meet, and Google Tasks. One Microsoft account can enable Outlook Calendar, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft To Do, and Outlook Email.

Gmail is not currently available in Dainvo.

Connect an account​

  1. Open Settings > Integrations.
  2. Choose the provider or feature you want to add.
  3. Complete the browser sign-in or provider form.
  4. Approve the requested permissions.
  5. Return to Dainvo and let the first sync finish.

Google and Microsoft start with the permissions needed for the feature you are connecting. If you enable another feature later, such as Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do, or Outlook Email, Dainvo may ask for the additional permission at that time.

Finish one browser connection before starting another. If a connection is already running, Dainvo keeps the current request and asks you to wait instead of opening competing sign-in windows.

Apple Calendar and CalDAV use direct connection forms instead of browser sign-in. Obsidian desktop pairing uses a one-time code with the Dainvo Task Manager plugin; its direct mobile task relay is configured separately inside the plugin.

Sync, reconnect, and remove​

Use Sync now when you want Dainvo to push pending changes and pull new updates.

Use Reconnect when the account is still listed but Dainvo needs fresh or expanded permissions. Reconnecting keeps the account's enabled Dainvo features.

Use Remove to delete the stored provider connection from Dainvo. Removing a connection from Dainvo does not delete events, tasks, email, or meetings in the provider account. You can also remove Dainvo from the provider account settings.

Integration limit​

Free accounts can use unlimited active integrations on Linux. On Windows and macOS, Free accounts can have up to 4 active integration features. At the limit, Dainvo keeps the remaining connection and feature controls visible, but mutes them and marks them Pro. Choose Upgrade to Pro for unlimited integrations, or disable or remove an active integration to make a Free slot available. Existing integrations keep their sync, reconnect, disable, and remove controls.

Privacy note​

Dainvo shows only safe account summary information such as display name, email, provider, and connection state. Passwords and private connection details are not shown in the app UI.
